The low-pressure area east of Taiwan has evolved into Tropical Depression Dindo, as reported by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday evening.

In its 11 p.m. tropical cyclone bulletin, the national weather agency noted that Dindo is currently "not expected to directly impact the weather conditions in the country," and no storm warnings have been issued as of yet.

The center of the tropical depression is estimated to be 560 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes. Dindo is advancing westward at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour, with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts reaching up to 70 kilometers per hour, as per PAGASA's update.

Dindo is anticipated to strengthen and develop into a tropical storm by Monday, although it is also projected to move out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility within the next 12 hours.
